Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to common questions about Vizaeo.
How long does an analysis take?
Typically 30–60 seconds. All 5 AI platforms are queried simultaneously, and the results are analyzed and scored in real time. You’ll see a progress indicator while the analysis runs. Learn how to start your first analysis in Getting Started.
How often should I run an analysis?
Monthly, at minimum. Most of the changes in your Visibility Improvement Plan need 30+ days before AI systems pick them up and your scores reflect the work. Running sooner risks seeing no movement even when your fixes are landing correctly — so 30 days is the tightest cadence we recommend.
Why do my scores differ across platforms?
Each AI platform has different training data, search capabilities, and recommendation logic. This is exactly what Vizaeo reveals. A business might score well on Perplexity (which searches the web in real time) but poorly on Claude (which relies on training data). These differences tell you where to focus your efforts.
Can I improve my AI visibility?
Yes. Content quality, structured data, online reviews, social presence, and brand authority all influence AI recommendations. Your Visibility Improvement Plan identifies where you’re falling short and provides specific, prioritized actions you can take to improve.
What is Share of Voice?
The percentage of AI mentions you receive compared to all competitors. If there are 200 total business mentions across AI responses and you appear 30 times, your Share of Voice is 15%. It’s the single best measure of your competitive position in AI recommendations. Learn more in How AI Visibility Works.
How does Vizaeo compare me to competitors?
Your Visibility Report includes a side-by-side competitor scoreboard showing your business alongside your top 5 competitors, ranked by Share of Voice. The Insights section explains what makes the top-performing businesses stand out — giving you a clear blueprint for closing the gap.
Is my data private?
Yes. Your business data and reports are only visible to your account. We never share individual data with other users or third parties. Visit Privacy settings in your account for granular control over analytics, logging, and data collection.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit cards via Stripe. Vizaeo uses pay-per-analysis pricing — no subscription required. You only pay when you run an analysis.
Can I delete my account?
Yes. Go to Settings → Data & Account, then the Danger Zone section. Account deletion is permanent and removes all your data, reports, and API keys.
How do colorblind themes work?
They redefine status colors to palettes specifically designed for each type of color vision difference. This isn’t a filter applied on top of existing colors — it’s a full color redesign that ensures every chart, badge, and indicator is distinguishable. Colorblind themes work independently of light/dark mode and accent themes. Configure yours in Appearance settings.
Is this different from SEO?
Yes. SEO optimizes for search engine rankings — getting your website to appear in Google results. AI visibility is about whether AI assistants like ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, and Copilot know about, recognize, and recommend your business when users ask them questions. These are two different discovery channels, and traditional SEO alone won’t ensure AI platforms mention you.
Will this actually improve my visibility?
Yes. Your AI Visibility Improvement Plan gives you specific, prioritized actions based on your actual gaps. Businesses that follow their plan consistently see measurable score improvements within 4–6 weeks. Run a follow-up analysis to track your progress.
Are there monthly fees?
No. Vizaeo uses simple pay-as-you-go pricing. Your initial AI Visibility Analysis is $59, and follow-up analyses are $29 each. No subscriptions, no recurring charges — you only pay when you run an analysis.
How much does it cost?
Your first AI Visibility Analysis is $59 and includes a comparison against your top 5 competitors. Follow-up analyses are $29 each. We recommend running follow-ups every 4–6 weeks to track your improvement over time.
